Micah 1st Team All-Pro. Well deserved, IMO.

I think the NFL Defensive Player of the Year comes down to TJ Watt. Miles Garrett and Parsons

Just putting this out here: 46 of 50 voters went MP. (There seemed to be a lot of unanimous selections this year, comparatively.)

great player, but like so many today, all about himself
How so? Last I checked, he began preparing for the pros last year after the Big cancelled the season. After the Big reversed itself and declared they would play a partial season, he like several others decided they would not change course. Cowboys view him as a consummate team player. Move on.

If I remember correctly, Parsons signed with an agent when the b1g initially canceled the season. Once he signed with an agent, it was not possible for him to play for PSU when the b1g changed course.

Was there an exemption granted to those who signed with agents after the Big canceled the season and then started up? I seem to recall Parsons having the ability to play if he so chose.

It’s in the past, and does not matter. However, he could have returned. Remember the whole saga whether he would return and he was”torn” by the decision.

As an opter-outer, I’m guessing he’ll opt out of the meaningless pro bowl game.
