What happened??

Hurts threw it to a wide open Goedert in the flat. Just before he turned upfield he took his eye off the ball, and as a result he didn't catch it. Before it hit the ground, it hit his left heel (or right; I forget), and bounced up into the arms of a WFT defender for the INT.

Good thing Howie traded Ertz and gave Goedert that huge extension! Goedert is a guy who looks the part, but hasn’t done a heckuva lot to justify that kind of money (save for being one of Howie’s non-bust draft picks).

well, it was a good start on D, and the O was starting to move, until Goedert made his idiotic play.

I'm still optimistic about the Birds tonight, though I do worry about WFT's run defense.

If the Birds win tonight, they're still very much alive in the playoff hunt.
