I have not seen that commercial for probably 60 (??) years. And yet, I knew the script, the song, the choreographed shave like I had just watched it yesterday. Quite the lasting impression!May celestial light shine upon her.
Growing up in the 1960s and seeing this commercial gave a young man that "funny feeling". This was one of the more memorable commercials of my lifetime. I did not need this to remind me I am old.
Laura Petrie and Mrs. Peel definitely stirred hormones in the prepubescent boy cohort. Diana Rigg in that full body black leather outfit... She is still my favorite Bond girl, with the possible exception of Eva Green.I have not seen that commercial for probably 60 (??) years. And yet, I knew the script, the song, the choreographed shave like I had just watched it yesterday. Quite the lasting impression!
Funny feelings indeed for per-pubescent boys of that time. (My "orientation" was confirmed at an early age by MTM as Laura Petrie and Diana Rigg as Emma Peel).
Sure, but I use Barbasol. Cheap is my middle name.Do they still make Noxema shave cream?
