That 4th quarter was embarrassing. 7 points in 10 minutes vs a SWAC team?? And 20 17'n turnovers??

Vic would run them for an hour straight first thing in the morning. Purcell got his teaching moment for the week. Hope Mr Nice Guy takes a nap at practice this week.

DCD nailed it about the up and down expectations as the season progresses.

Btw, Ole Miss played a similar opponent in Pine Bluff and destroyed them 85-24.

They were just pretty careless with the ball the whole game and then quite working for easier baskets down the stretch and couldn't make ****. Just not what good teams do. No matter the opponent.

I'm probably overreacting, but I've watched enough ball to not have a good feeling about a few things. The ball security and PG play is a major concern. We're a long way from Morgan and Jazz.

They've got a soft as Charmin early non con and a very tough conference start. Better have expectations high for every result.

They do have a test before conference in a tourney with Utah, who's good, and then a single vs Georgia Tech.

But these early games are laughers. Vic played them too. But his good teams won games like today by 50+ points almost every time. That was just what was expected.

Just noticed, Texas is #4 and beat SEMO 119-47 today. He's still the same guy.
