Saban left because of NIL and portal. He won't say it 100% out loud but he's said enough. It's not like he's off fishing somewhere. He still works and prepares for his TV gig every Saturday and has an office in the Bama athletic department. Time....NIL/Portal passed him by and I'm not so sure that's a good thing for the game.
