As I have gotten older, I resisted Crocs. However, we got a hot tub during Covid and my better half suggested getting Crocs for the winter months because we can walk out the house across the cold ground in Crocs and wear them straight into the hot tub without worry about taking shoes off before getting in and when getting out. Granted it s about a 20 foot walk across the deck, down to steps and across the patio to get back and forth. Worked great and that was the only thing I used them for. Ultimately, I started wearing them in my kitchen when I am cooking, I am normally in bare feet, after cooking for a few hours my feet would start to hurt from standing chopping, cutting, butchering, etc. Not any more, put those little clouds on my feet and no my foot pain from standing. Also, I walk and hike a lot and my feet get sore after 8-9 miles and wearing the crocs when I get home feels great and helps with recovery from sore feet. (Yeah, I could lose like 30 pounds but meh...). I never wear crocs out in public though....

I have totally embraced crocs for the same exact reason. I know occasionally catch my wife wearing my crocs to take the dog out.

They're also pretty doggone convenient for drivers who have the third pedal. Slides simply don't cut it. IYKYK

Do I wear them around town? No. Do I wear them to take out the trash or walk the dog around the block....all the time.

I have 3 pairs. The lined ones are excellent in the fall/winter, especially when you don’t want to get your sneaks or shoes wet due to rain or slush.
