Sorry....even versus the cheaters I can't bring myself to pull for a Texas team.

I know I've told this story before, by 9-10 year old pee-wee football in Texas, the coaches interview all the players before drafting them.

Old guy comes up to me, asks if I've played before, I say yes, 2 years. He says where. I say Pennsylvania. He says with stern seriousness, and I quote, "I don't want any damn yankees on my team" and moves on to the next kid.

So yeah, screw these confederates.

Putin is a lot of things- but he's no socialist. Robber Barron is more like it.
I love all the Putin hate.

Back in the Clinton administration he asked us to approve of Russia joining NATO. We said no.

Then he asked us to limit NATO expansion and we added the Baltics and Poland to NATO, bringing the alliance to Russia's border for the first time.

Then again he asked us to allow Russia to join NATO. Again, we said no.

We supported the overthrow of a democratically elected Russia leaning government in Ukraine by a group that was unfriendly to Russia. He watched.

He took Crimea and supported ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine.

We blew up a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, formulated by some of our NATO allies and Israel, and Russia invaded and we armed the Ukrainians.

We have spent over a hundred billion dollars in a war costing Russia tens of thousands of lives. So he is the bad guy and the people who started the conflict are the innocent ones?

OK. I just do not understand, but that's me.
