I remember really wanting Michael Scarnecchia to play the next week and start vs Texas AM and have Bentley in reserve to play hero if need be, seemed like a great scenario, but Muschamp started Bentley who played awful in the first half and we got down 0-16. Bentley played better in the second half but the hole was to big.

It would of been interesting to see how far Scarnecchia would of gone before faltering and getting switched out, a what if for sure.

Almost seemed like Muschamp was afraid of more success with Scarnecchia and a potential QB controversy.

Yes. Scar was a Spurrier recruit.
