Anyone playing it? My initial reaction is that a LOT of work went into this. The game day environment modeling, traditions, etc. are exceptionally well done.

The rendering of the Beav is spot on.

The many modes make the game very deep and will provide for a lot of wasted evenings.

The gameplay mechanics are very similar to the Madden mechanics so the learning curve is short.

But I can't find the mascot game mode, if it exists. That was always fun in prior generations.

Oh ya, I'm a loser who pre-paid for it to get access a few days early. Anyone else? I think it hits the actual shelves tomorrow.

we just purchased with new TV also and have heard great things.

not all players may be in the game if the players did not sign the EA NIL contract. I heard some players are missing, and the ratings of certain players may be different than the fans of their team would expect.

I started playing the other day, and was pleasantly surprised to hear the mention of Joe Paterno. I can't remember what exactly was said, but there was a particular good hit by the defense and something was mentioned about that's the kind of player Joe Paterno would like, or something to that effect. It happened so quickly, and I was in such shock that it took me by surprise, and I can't remember the exact wording. But it definitely mentioned Joe, and was complimentary to him.
