If you're referring to a top-8 seed, I think we could win out and not get a top-8 seed. The problem is Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, and A&M are all in line for a top-8 seed. I don't think they want to give five SEC teams a top-8 seed, especially when the 5th team has a marginal host resume.

If we sweep Missouri and Arkansas we will 100% be a national seed

I’ve run some numbers on north Alabama to see what a win would do if we played today. Probably a 5-7spot drop. I hope that’s off. Arkansas will help but that’s balanced out by Mizzou.

edited: probably more like a 3 spot drop. Found a flaw in the calculation

We’re in kind of a strange place with RPI right now. We’re 18th. Which is real good. But we’re closer to #26 Vandy than we are to #17 Oklahoma. If season ended today, I think we host. But probably need at least 5-2 in these last 7 games + a win or 2 in SECT to maintain that.

We started playing really well when everybody started spending their Saturdays doing yard work. Now that we care again, I'm ready to get my heart broken.

I don’t think we can make a top 8 but a W at Arkansas and a sweep of Missouri and we are right on the bubble and likely get a Host.
Win 2 at Arkansas and I think we’re a lock for a Host spot.

This is the right answer. Probably need a win in the SECT to clinch it.
