This is why mbb is almost unwatchable. I’ve said it before; it’s just like the automatic double-play in baseball. They get the out at second whether the SS or 2nd baseman actually touches the bag or not - it’s automatic.
Here, the official had already decided that a defender on a fast break layup will commit a foul and that it was automatic. In that camera POV, the ref is looking directly at it - if he was the one to make that call, he should NEVER call another game on a level higher than youth rec league….. heck, that might even be unfair to the kids.
