They actually do. But only used in very isolated areas and under pretty controlled conditions (such as following a truck with a live driver).

OB has put up devices on all roads coming into the city limits. It has a sign on them about all traffic laws will be enforced. However all I can find out about them is that they are recording all license plates coming into the city in case something happens and it is not actively enforcing... yet!?!?

Yeah, I know. They are used only in ways that avoids the unsolvable issues.
