Split a 4-game series with Hawaii. Won 1st 2 in close games, got blown out twice in the last 2. I've thought all along they're in worse shape than we are this year. Outscored 37-16 in four games.

Four games, Saturday’s games were 7 innings. Was that the plan all along? Or did they have weather issues?

I’d rather play three nine inning games than play 9, 7, 7, and 9.

If not for their magical run to the national title as a regional 3 seed, Bianco would’ve been fired after last season. And they were one of the last teams in the field in their natty season if I remember correctly.

Not “one of.” “THE” last at large team into the field. I think the committee even said as much. They went on a crazy run behind their two top starters and a couple bullpen guys.

If Lemonis hadn’t pitched Lane Forsyth against them in Governors cup game they probably wouldn’t have made it.
