I get your point but considering that most of the folks were wearing blue, my guess is it was a group decision or consensus to emphasize shades of blue.

Now if it were the advertising gurus in charge of the W renaming, they’d all be wearing chartreuse…

The NCAA color is blue so I'm sure that's why he wore blue.
