To be fair, though, North Carolina beat us by a decent amount. Most people probably feel as though Georgia is a good bit better than North Carolina.

Yep, but first game performances can be deceptive, and GA hasn't been tested. I think the range for this game is anywhere between they totally smoke us to we straight up win. Is Immanwouri (sp?) playing? His presence could make all the difference in messing up that QB.

Like Lou Holtz said, you bring a different team to the ballpark every week.

Just like last year, had to get used to new qb, receivers, TEs, o coordinator (if you could call Satt that), etc.

This year, Wells was iffy, Leggette moves into starting role with Brown, new TEs and RBs. It takes some games to gel in most cases. We didn’t open with a warm up game and Oline is new and underperformed. NC offense was ahead of the curve on their end. We lost.

I truly believe we are ahead of last year. Vann and Brooks and Bell were good. I think a healthy Wells, the beast Leggette, and Brown along with Knox/Simon and Harbor can be better. Rattler is better. We are better at LB. Many teams who were favored lost game 1. We were underdogs slightly. I thought we were better team but NC played well. It happens. Big mistake to act like that game defines an entire season. It could, but we’ll know at the end, not the beginning

I'm not a betting man, but I wouldn't touch this. Nothing would surprise me on this game, a blowout or 14 point win by UGA both look to be
in the realm of possibilities. Based on the last 2 games, I don't see us matching up well enough for a win.
