I've seen a lot of people on social media high on cherryville.
I’m going with Alleghany in a close one. Home field advantage up there in Sparta could be big.

Pulling for Alleghany but Cherryville may be the sleeper in the West. I don't know much about them but on social media they say they have a prolific offense. I'm afraid that Alleghany may struggle against that. Cherryville definitely isn't going to be intimidated by anyone in 2a based on who they've had to play throughout the season. I think that neutralizes some of the home field advantage. It all points to a dangerous team but we will see
Playing tougher schedules doesn't mean your a better squad. Alleghany could easily have lost by four and five touchdowns to the better teams cherryville played like they did..if they hung with those teams sure I get the argument....but losing by an average of 30 points to those tougher teams doesn't make them better than Alleghany. Supposed to be below freezing at kickoff it's supposed to be 31 degrees fahrenheit...i would think that would be more of a home field advantage....then getting beat by 30 vs the good teams. Wish we got the 4 seed so community school of Davidson would have to come up the mountain if we both win.
Cherryville stayed in the games generally until after the half. Once they wear down they are pretty mediocre. If Alleghany has any size they will give Cherryville trouble. The CV offense is quick and shifty. There is just zero depth.
