Official '26 PSU - Washington game thread

[KingLando]

Anybody else having technical issues with FS1?

Nope--not yet anyway--I will say FS1 is the only one I typically have issues with though

I do too.

No sound.

Wasn’t it odd the way the washington punter held the ball a few seconds before kicking it? He gave his guys time to get downfield, but it still looked odd.

[Phils rug]

Little trickeration there for the 1st down

The UW punter’s first punt was almost blocked.

[KingLando]

Better block by Rocco that time

[Shepdogg]

My technical difficulty is having to listen to Robert Smith.

[Tom McAndrew]

Nice double reverse by PSU to get the ball out to their 48

Looked like they were maybe trying a fake if it was there

[Phils rug]

Dammit, had him wide open

[PSUcup]

Back to back terrible throws by Becht.

[Calabrin]

Offense is looking efficient against another squishy D. Nice to see it. The defense just has to be decent and we should get out of here with an easy win.

[Tom McAndrew]

damn, he had Martin wide open, and over shot him on 3rd & 5. Martin may have jumped too early.

PSU has to punt

[KingLando]

What the hell was Q doing--he didn't need to jump

[PSUcup]

He’s just waaaaay to inconsistent

[KingLando]

Back to back terrible throws by Becht.

As the announcer said, it was a perfect throw--Q slowed down and jumped instead of running under it

It would have been a hell of catch. Shucks.

[PSUcup]

In his defense. He’s not a WR

[Tom McAndrew]

Washington with a FC at their 5. And a PF (facemask) against Washington, so I guess they'll start @ 2 1/2

[KingLando]

Why are people blaming Becht for Q's mistake?

Give it a rest. All you do is *****.

Very good, Tom.

[KingLando]

Okay, fine, but you can't blame the QB who threw good ball--multiple people here have falsely claimed that wasn't a good throw

[rudedude]

That wasn’t a great throw. Rocco has to put the ball upfield and not to the sideline. He does that it’s a sure TD. He did that on the one interception vs Wisky.

Keep the pedal to the metal. Exploit the secondary.

[NedFromYork]

He was wide open, Becht missed him. Period.

[Phils rug]

Safety time, Let's go D!

[psuno1]

Back to back terrible throws by Becht.

Martin had a Lb on him if he throws it right to him it's a td. terrible throw.

[Ludd]

What the hell was Q doing--he didn't need to jump

Huh?

[KingLando]

It was almost perfect--Q stopped running

It was a bad pass. Didn’t lead him.

[MtNittany]

It would have been a hell of catch. Shucks.

Yeah. I got even more animated. I shouted "Darn It!" at the tv. I hope the neighbors or the dog walkers didn't hear.

He did lead him--he slowed up and jumped instead of running under it
Did you listen to the broadcast? Ignore me--listen to them

[psuno1]

Make Williams beat you with his arm, stuff the run and win the game.

[BobPSU92]

The UW punter’s first punt was almost blocked.

True.

[Tom McAndrew]

SAFETY, or a fumble and TD

[KingLando]

That has to be grounding if not a sack

[Phils rug]

BOOOO lol
