West Lincoln 3-7
East Rutherford 3-7

East Gaston 5-5

[Shelby Lion]

I think we all wish Cherryville well in 2a, they have a shot to go several rounds deep, they have a very good offense

Go Ironmen

[Shelby Lion]

Cherryville out there killing people (Ill post the hit in a minute )up 27-0

West Lincoln killing East Rutherford 21-0

[Shelby Lion]

Chur'Vull with the hammer

[BUSHLEAGUE1]

Bessemer City is moving the ball on MH. 13 1st downs in a half is pretty solid for BC.

Down 30-14 at the half. They can’t stop MH.

Our Conference is playing pretty solid football tonight

I called the West Lincoln over East Rutherford upset.

Bunker Hill coming to Burns next week

Cherryville is gonna be dangerous in 2A

Shock of the night is Foard will be going to Cramer next week instead of Pisgah

[Shelby Lion]

West is boot stomping East Rutherford

54-26 8:07 reamining

We welcome the Rebels next week, and shall be sending them back toward Cat Square by the half... Leave the dead cats at the house,, it didnt help last time wont help this time

Good win tonight though

Congrats to WL, but East Rutherford must be really bad, especially on defense. Good pick on the WL upset.

[notanyonesfan1]

As much as everyone likes to beat down on our conference, it's really not that bad. The top 4 are pretty elite. 5 is pretty good this year (Cherryville) and 6 WL just pulled a playoff upset. So this bad conference of ours has 6 teams in Round 2.

[BoltsUp]

At the end of the night we have:

Shelby - Bye
Burns - Bye
Linc - Bye
SC - Bye
WL - 61-32 over East Ruth
Cherryville - 60-0? over Elkin

EG Out
BC Out

HT - NP

6 teams heading into Round 2. Good night for the conference.

[notanyonesfan1]

Cherryville ended 63-0 I believe

[notanyonesfan1]

Did Highland opt out due to numbers?

I have been trying to tell anyone that will listen, Cherryville has some guys and they execute. Well coached team.

I see Cherryville winning next week and then giving Corvian all they can handle.

Did Highland opt out due to numbers?

They opted out, but not due to numbers I heard. A winless team has no business being sent 4 hours away as cannon fodder.

No absolutely not.

Last thing I'll say about our "bad" conference. 6 out of 9 teams in the 2nd round ain't too shabby.

Hopefully we get at least 4 in the 3rd round

Actually I think we'll have 5 in the 3rd round. Burns, Cramer, Cherryville, Lincolnton and Shelby

If we get 5 in the 3rd round, I move to take over the name "Meat Grinder" conference from the Big South.

Is it next Friday yet?

[Shelbyfan1]

Great for Cherryville, but if they face Corvian its over they have a hugh Defensive front that is good.
Cherryville small cross line play.
I just feel they going have problems
