***** OFFICIAL JMU vs #23 Kentucky Game Thead *****

[Kingslayer07]

Defense is hot garbage. Didn't expect they tonight.

[megablue]

Our defense...

Too tall to be quick enough to play on-ball defense.
Really good, quick teams will cause us problems if they can shoot and get to the rim. We are simply too giraffesque.

[KyLegacyBBN]

So, can we actually play some D this game?

[UKCowboys]

Also, the Mason Williams hype was way premature.

Why don't you go to whatever teams board you actually root for and bash UK there with you buddies

[loublue22_rivals308424]

It's been like 5 years now of horrific defense.

[RunninRichie]

Why don't you go to whatever teams board you actually root for and bash UK there with you buddies

Can you even ride a horse?

[Wunky]

JMU has been the more aggressive team in the first half, and that’s not acceptable. Their ball movement is quicker than ours and they’re getting up in our shorts. We’re settling for a bunch of garbage fall aways.

[Catastic5]

JMU is doing a better job guarding us than we are them.

[chroix]

Good test. Put them away now.

[bbnkat02]

MOM not on tonight. Not great.

[Artlaibesghost]

Dont understand why everybody collapses on ball when it goes in paint. We got shot blockers STAY ON YOUR DAMN MAN

[legalbeagle123]

Boooooooooooooooo

[ala_kat2]

Momcilivic 1-3 from 3 so far.

[loublue22_rivals308424]

It's size vs quickness, but at Kentucky you should have both.

[BigBluefoot]

Our defense...

It's typical Pope team defense. Been this way every season. Players don't feel like putting forth the energy to play hard nosed defense for a full game and Pope obvious doesn't hold them to it.

[PooPooPeePeePoo]

I wanted to give Pope the benefit of the doubt but this roster is honestly solid. At this point it comes down to coaching.

[bbnkat02]

5-14 beyond the arc. WOOOF

[Catastic5]

Both teams are just chucking 3s, hoping they’ll connect.

[MidseasonTweak]

Oozie is bad until further notice

[HolySmokes]

Brick city

[RunninRichie]

JMU wide open on all their 3’s, such a joke with our length.

[*Fox2Monk*]

Abysmal D

Post it again.

[bbnkat02]

Yeah, let's be behind at half. That's how you save your *** Pope.

[ala_kat2]

We got too many guys who think they’re good 3 shooters.(Hawthorne, N’Diaye, primarily)

[Catastic5]

This is not the time to be looking this bad when Kansas is coming up next week.

[MaysviileKY]

Our offense SUCKS!

[KyLegacyBBN]

Mom is off tonight.

[megablue]

Play some zone defense ... mix it up !!

[Anon1773686487]

Fire pope w a loss

[DelkBowl]

This team is embarrassing.

[*Fox2Monk*]

Hawthorne loves shooting bricks don’t he. He could drive at will this game, but let’s settle for a slow fadeaway from 3.

[RunninRichie]

JMU is the better team

[MidseasonTweak]

We got too many guys who think they’re good 3 shooters.

Pope tells them to shoot

[loublue22_rivals308424]

brick brick brick brick

no one can get to the rim on James Madison

[BigBluefoot]

We are constantly getting outpositioned for rebounds in the paint by Oompaloompas. Smh.

[BlueBloodKyFan72]

5-14 beyond the arc. WOOOF

Might want to go to the blocks with the bigs

[bbnkat02]

Live look at our D:

[darkshadesofblue]

Hawthorne has the clunkiest 3 point shot I’ve seen

[Catastic5]

Don’t remind me of the good times.

[FLBBNFAN]

Oozie is bad until further notice

Yean he cant make a shot. Good grief!
