These are the tickets that Tennessee, Georgia and Ole Miss gobble up then everyone attacks the faculty. We have told you for a couple of years that all those opposing fans are a much bigger problem than the faculty section. There isn't even a faculty section anymore. When it was, it was section 21 and part of 20. We have a MUCH bigger problem than a few dozen faculty members selling their tickets.

And no. I am not a faculty member or have seats over there.

How are you guys affording season tickets and NIL in this economic environment? I mean I'm struggling to fill my gas tank. Sounds like some of you are making too much money off the hard working backs of red blooded Americans. We need a wealth tax on all those capable of giving NIL donations. I don't care if it's $5 the government can use that money to help struggling families instead of it giving it to privileged athletes.

All this is true. ^^^

someone on GP said, season ticket sales are at a 16 year low. I have no idea if that is true but judging by the eye.... I'd say so.

I don't recall the lower east side ever being as sparse as it has been the last 2-3 years. However, Missouri this year have been the best attendance (by msu fans) that we have had in many many years. Win and fans will show.

If we lose to Vandy, Auburn will be under 30k with lots of orange and blue in that 30k. Tn Tech will be below 20k actual butts in stadium.

Here's the joy of my situation. My son wanted to go to a game this year. Specifically, he wanted to go see K1 play in person. This is when we were 3-0 and all was right in the world. So I meandered over to stub hub and lo and behold I see two tickets in the scoreboard club that aren't that bad of a price for the scoreboard club so I decide to really make it a nice time for him and I splurge on the tickets and a parking pass for TN Tech. He's pumped. I'm excited and happy to do this for him. And then it just all goes to ****. A big steaming pile of ****. Not even a firm turd steaming pile of ****. A mushy not quite diarrhea steaming pile of ****.

If we had less government intervention we wouldn’t be in this mess. We need less govt not more. But with the new communists in office the USSA will be in full swing so you might get your little govt subsidy after all

With the costs of everything going higher and higher and higher, combined with the fact that we have had the worst team in the league over the last 3 seasons, none of this should be a surprise.

My kids and I will be there tomorrow - mainly because I paid a lot for these seats, and it should be a nice, cool fall day. Depending on what happens tomorrow, not sure if we'll be there for AU. But - and here's the depressing part - at first I thought well, we obviously won't bother with Tenn. Tech at this point, but then it hit me that hey - if the weather is really nice that day, we'll probably be able to pull right up to the stadium and park, practically have the place to ourselves, not have to fight traffic, and be able to walk around the Cotton District and eat wherever we want.

Which means that I'm not looking at it as going to a football game any more, but just something fun to do with my kids on a Saturday instead.
