Lebbys not the only coach that runs this variation of the wide choice or for that matter an offense that could get Taylor in the Heisman discussion in 27 . Another piece is if your return Lebby, what has he shown you that make you believe that he can shore up the protection on the OL. In three years he hasn’t. On the play K1 was injured against Mizz had he given the ba to fluff he wouldn’t be hurt. Had we blocked the DL, he wouldn’t be hurt.
I never thought I’d see MSU fans defend a coach who in all probability will finish year three with 12/13 wins, while our rival continue to ascend with their 2nd coach

The coaching account isn’t the same as NIL pool. So that shouldn’t be an issue
We don't even need a coach that runs an offense similar to Lebby's at all. If you have K1, the type of receivers we have, a serviceable RB and some SEC caliber linemen, you are going to score points at a good clip. Lebby hasn't done anything unique to get fast receivers into 1 on 1 situations with corners. His hurry up style may have gotten defenses on their heels a bit, but that's not even unique to Lebby. Being unable to score when he's inside the 15 also is not unique to Lebby, but its a trait I find undesirable.

I don't take issue with someone changing their opinion. What makes folks less likely to give you a pass is your ability to be a giant douche about your initial opinion, and calling anyone out that dares think differently.
I think 77 fell into the trap I used to when I was younger and hadn’t suffered so much as a State fan. Believing the August hype and that somehow we had found all the 3* hidden diamonds everyone else missed.

I know I'm in the vast minority here, but I think the better play is to not extend him this year, so his buyout decreases next year. Throw everything at next year. Bring in some better O-Lineman, bring in as much talent and depth as we can. Spend the money on players this offseason, instead of yet another buy out just to have another reset that likely results in us doing the same thing again 3 years from now. The offense works with KT and Lebby. We beat 3 quality teams in our first 4 games when we were healthy. Next year, the offense brings back 9 starters, if we can keep them all. We need a stud WR (this staff has a track record of being able to do that), a quality back-up QB, a new LT, and some OL depth. Break the bank, go all in. The offense will score next year, as long as KT stays healthy. Maybe he won't. But him learning a new system going into his last year in college is not a good idea. Heck, he may leave. I know a lot of you think that may not be a bad thing because he hasn't stayed healthy, but he's the best QB we've ever had, and ever will have. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. It's a gamble, because he may just be injury prone. But it's a better bet than starting over. We can always start over after next year. There is no coach out there that will come make us a contender next year. Bringing this offense back next year gives us a puncher's chance. That's better than 95% of seasons at MSU. Roll the dice, go for broke. it's not like one more 3 win season will matter to our history if we roll snake eyes.
I would either support this or just start from scratch because we will be cutting our legs off at the kneecap if we get a new coach right now.

More about trying to stay positive and thst backfired
When I saw us in august practice I was very excited and encouraged. But what it really occurred was K1 covered up Lebbys short comings. I then doubled down and that’s on me after the start. But once the SH!!tt show started as well as some other details were told to me… well i was 1000% out. Even at 6-6 I’d can Lebby.

I disagree. This job is not a bad job. I think a lot of people had down played it over the years but we can win and build something here. Mullen won, Leach won, hell even Moorehead won. The idea this has been a revolving door job isn’t real either. Dan was here 9 years. Moorhead wasted two teams, Leach died, and ZA was just a glorified interim. Now Lebby is staring down the barrel of a best case 13-24 record. No one would fault us for firing him. We have an opportunity to maybe be the only SEC job open
Keeping Lebby isn’t gonna sell tickets, it isn’t going to get this fan base fired up or engage them to donate to NIL. Now you go out and hire a proven HC, sign K1, get that NIL to 40-45MM then I think we are rolling.

The issue is that he’s had 48MM in nil money combined over the last three seasons and hasn’t been able to do anything you point out. So this year’s 40Mm will net results the same ****
Why were you shltting on everyone who was telling you the same thing six months ago and calling them "not a fan" and rooting for State to fail? Accusing them of not giving enough money? Do you have any self awareness? This is a serious question. I'll await the unserious response.

When I saw us in august practice
Nobody cares who you are or if you're cool enough to see practice or any of that garbage.

But I'll tell you one thing. If the likes of you are around influencing our program and AD in any way, then I'd 100% rather keep Lenny another couple of years rather than trust you all with a new hire that would waste another 3-4.

Why do you constantly seek out my post to only make yourself look bad? I appreciate your efforts but you clearly haven’t read a damn thing I have posted over the last 10 days. I was wrong, hell I apologized to everyone on here about that. JFC let it go.
You are the one who literally wanted to meet me at 17ing south farm or sonic to have a fight over a message board post. I mean really bro… I’ll tell you that’s being weak and small minded. You’re consistent rhetoric about me and post staking is just 17ing weird.

This is kinda what's funny about the whole thing. I go back to the thread before the Alabama game where we were talking, innocently enough, about how Fluff and KT were banged up and he jumped in here telling all of us that both of them "were fine." Little things like that reveal that even though he hints that he's connected and knows people and has access to players and practices and stuff like that, he really doesn't. Either he's trying to build some messageboard cred or he's listening to someone who's lying to him. I just remember watching Fluff testing his leg pregame before the Bama game on the field to see if he could go and wondering why 77 wasn't posting about that if he was so connected.

Because you were constantly seeking out my posts before. You earned it.

No I haven't read everything you've posted the last 10 days. Because it's BS. Everything you're saying now is stuff you were relentlessly attacking everyone else for earlier. And like I said, it wasn't just that you disagreed. You questioned fandoms. Personally attacked. Played some BS "I'm more connected than you" card.

ETA because I forgot to add it but since you keep bring up the south farm thing, it's also not a good look for you that you point back to a comment that is a pretty common SPS joke as a serious comment. But you fail to acknowledge the things you posted prior to prompt the comment.

Your credibility is nonexistent. Trust me, I'm not the one looking bad here.
