Cat's are not going to be easy. with their qb being so mobile. We are down one db and starting center. If, and I mean IF we get by Northwestern the big target will be on our backs. At Illinois and Nebby will not be easy in my opinion.

We always piss it down our leg though once we get highly ranked. Nice thing is we haven't usually done that when we get to November. I'm still petrified of the Purdue game because they will attack us pass first.

That's not how Purdue attacked Minnesota, so who knows.

Northwestern will be the 2nd best team Iowa plays all year, after a "healthy" Ohio State. I'm not sure fans realize how good they are. Should certainly be in the CFP Top 25. They are favored over the Hawks for a reason. If Iowa wins, then they will get a huge boost in the CFP. Then and only then should we be talking about them pissing the bed against Purdue/Illinois/Nebraska.

I’m only slightly worried about that. I think the hawks have looked plenty good this year to where if we go 10-2 we are in. The Minnesota game was obviously an anomaly.
