Wrestling in Iowa City means you can only wrestle an "Iowa" high school schedule.
High school athletes can't attend RTC practice during the season anyway - so a schedule like Lake Highland Prep and Faith Christian AND team like they have, is light years ahead of the restrictive Iowa travel rules.
Wrestling from 5:00 to 15:00

Maybe he did (learn from it). I have not really followed what he's been up to these last couple years, but was made aware of Barstool as it was parked outside of Joe's (owned by a friend).. I happened to be in the room and his talk was inspiring. The guys loved it. He was around for an hour walking the mat, talking to guys, asking questions, encouraging them.
As to recruiting, we have two great classes rolling in the next two years of just those who have announced. There are others who are likely.
This is thirdhand by now, but Joe B is up around 200 and will wrestle 190 this HS season He said he's happy to wrestle at any weight for the team. Nice young man. Will be interesting which weights he and his brother end up at, certainly mid to uppers
157 and 197 are my guesses for them. Be interesting to see what happens between him and Singer . Both should be top 5 at 190 when the next rankings come out. 175 has past them both by so it seems like whoever isn't 190 will be 215

Its a shame Gruden lost his ESPN job because of his emails. If he had wrestled for Iowa that would have only warranted sitting out the first meet of the season.
Only in the cesspool do you see a person criticize someone for a homophobic comment and then use a homophobic comment to insult someone else just minutes later….when you are in a wrestling recruiting thread.

Not looking for any props. Just saying kind of cool having a celebrity come to a wrestling practice and promote Iowa wrestling. Sabula you need to relax and enjoy life. I think 157 is a huge need unless Block can put on good weight for next year

It was actually posted pretty late Split time... so you were close. There's a 7-hour time difference between Bari/Split, and Iowa time. Then as I'm sure you know, not everyone goes to bed at 9 pm like you probably do. Shoved off for Bari shortly after that. Actually sitting there now. Arrivaderchi... and thanks for your interest!
