Today, Matt was giving the bears props for their ranking and saying how even if they lose in a close game to Georgia, they would still be one of the best 3 loss teams to make the playoffs. I was driving so I couldn’t text in. But I was thinking, Florida is at 21 with a 5-3 record. What is Florida runs the table and finishes 9-3 and ole Miss loses to Georgia even in a close game and finishes 9-3? Wouldn’t Florida be a better choice due to beating Ole Miss and Texas while Texas beat Ole Miss?

I can't see OM getting in the CFP with 3 loses. There are too many teams ranked ahead of them and around them with one loss. I really think this is the year the sec gets a few left out because of B12 and acc, one loss teams.

But with said, I fully expect the CFP to inexplicably move a team up or down in the final poll to get who they want in.
