TBH, from what I read, Israel (netanyahu) suggested this at the beginning of the year...I don't know why Trump would wait so long to announce it. But hey, I don't know why Trump does a lot of things.

Typical simpleton post by lefty. I vote for Trump because he is less worse than the opposition, not because I have any particular devotion to him. I would bet that 20 to 35% of votes come from people like me. In any event, I was very angry when Israel decided to bomb Lebanon when there was some sort of chance for a ceasefire. Israel has thumbed its nose at the United States many times, and I think this is a good way to make sure they don't make things worse for the United states. I would have supported this three or four months ago.
