Just start Williams already. I’m so tired of the “we need him as a spark off the bench” narrative. Same BS that was said about Reed and Rob. He’s your best damn point guard and it isn’t close. The offense stalls without him as there is no penetration. We have a team loaded with shooters, but they won’t get looks without a competent PG. I’m not ready to give up on Zoom yet, but how much time are we supposed to give him? He’s a veteran player and a freshman is making him look silly.

If Pope doesn’t start Diallo, I’m sure he thinks it will crush his confidence and he’s giving him every chance to find his footing. He can afford to go with him early on but if he can’t get going soon, I’m sure Williams will be given the nod. Each game he struggles the more the pressure builds. I hope he can get going soon for everyone sake, we need him.
