That’s really not good news to anyone except the powers that be who get money from this. Recruits and players don’t care about this stuff anymore.

The most startling thing to me is that a market with one program (Kentucky) easily surpasses the market with three major DI schools -- Duke, NC and NC State.

This is the kind of stat that should be moving the meter with recruiting, but alas, it is not.

Also, about half the Louisville market should be included in Kentuckys.

We're 14th in football markets this season which isn't bad at all considering alot of our games are on ESPN Ocho online.

It’ll probably increase if we continue succeeded in football (and probably sucking in basketball).

Now if it turned into local NIL marketing deals, it could.

UK..... Bama... ND.. Kansas.... The blue blood programs in both bb and fb.... Had the edge in exposure in the 70-90s.....every game was podcast.... Most of the time live....rememebr wen you had to stay up after the evening news to watch the game on tape delay...... Now... Every game is broadcast..... Streaming.... ESPN app.... All of that stuff has taken the exposure part out of it.. Now.... You can go to some second tier program.... Be the top dog..... Get starter minutes right off the bat... And not have to deal with a rabid fan base.... The appeal of being Kentucky.... Or Bama.... Just is not the same as 40 years ago..... Now it.... Show me the money..... And then my junior or senior year..... I'll transfer to some big program and show what I can do...
