You are correct though...the only HS football program who can claim dominance over SP is Shelby. You should be proud of that. But, you would've gotten beaten by 14 this year, 42 last year and probably by 17-21 two years ago. That is the absolute truth. It's a shame we haven't been able to even these numbers out more the last 25 years. I guess we can add Shelby to the list now: EG, SC, Lincolnton, Shelby. I sense a trend.

The last two meetings we had with you guys, we won. SP has the overall but we definitely didn't run. I think you will agree that if we had 2 more Non-Conf. games, SP would be on it. Historically, we played you guys pretty consistently. Our only Championship had us facing the Red Bone twice in what was two lopsided victories for both of us.

?? I don't claim to know anything. I see what I see & talk about it. I dislike Crest. I will pull for Burns over Crest most anytime truth be known. What has happened on the field, though, despite my many objections of how teams are now formed and allowed - is undeniable.
I think Burns was semi-cheated in the Shelby game. What was it....2 bogus flags got them back into it? Then yall playing so many 2 ways caught up with you. Shelby isn't built like a 3a or 4a team so that's a HUGE disadvantage for all others playing them. With that said...I understand why you all have to have so many go 2 ways given your admin numbers and surrounding recruiters.

Went from Belmont HS to SP in 1969. My old man was in the last graduating class that was Belmont HS. He takes crap about pulling for Cramer now and he just says I never went to SP.

I love how all that matters to Burns people is when the new HC took the reigns and the immediate timeframe afterwards. Even with the good records, and the sub 500 record there is a learning curve for him, the staff and oh yea.....that bad run of talent for 2 years. That was the biggest difference....and so kudos for catching them in that 1-2 year talent gap window every 20 years.

It's an army of 3-4 with 12 "names". Unfortunately it is easy to read the names on the backs of jerseys because they are all running in the opposite direction from playing a tackle football game vs SP.
Maybe BMS will get on the SC schedule?

I was talking about Belmont and SP HS. You were making excuses why you have a losing record against Shelby, some crazy stuff about beating them by 42 points last year if you played them, and the only reason Burns has won the last 2 is because of a talent gap that happens only every 20 years. Then you brought your alter ego in Temprest Rising to say something that you probably dreamed about last night so you could come in and respond.
