On the other hand, which players in the preseason did you think would have a chance to become player of the year but have not played up to the hype.

Hunter Carley - Richmond-Burton
Jake Nawrot - Hersey
Israel Abrams - Montini
Ronnie Gomiller - ESL

I was thinking Ronnie Gomiller. If we are looking at stats, team contribution, and just plain outstanding/unmatchable play, I can't think of anyone else. He has 20 TDs and 1,241 total yards: 784 rushing (13.1 per carry), 467 receiving.

BTW, the 4* Cincy commit is going to take an Official Visit to Texas, which just had a WR flip to FLA.

Wow! Such stats in 17 games would probably land a player Offensive Player of the Year in the NFL, and he's done it in ten games.
