I mean, COME ON! These schedulers are making it hard.
For me a day game is a two night stay.Night games make it a two day thing for me. I have to book a hotel. I have to get the dog boarded. I either bring the kids to a game that is probably too late to keep them up, or else I have to get someone to watch the children and sell the additional tickets. It then takes a good portion of my Sunday driving home.
Or else I just don’t go, and save myself a bunch of hassle.
Needless to say, I do not like night games.
Big Ten used to have a rule of no night games in November, I thought. Certainly late November.FWIW I very much doubt the Illinois game will be at night.
Most big time programs would love this.I mean, COME ON! These schedulers are making it hard.
At least the new stadium should mitigate the severe weather a little for the fans at least.Big Ten used to have a rule of no night games in November, I thought. Certainly late November.
Michigan limits night games to two a season, and none after daylight savings. Most big time programs would love this.
We have the coaching to rise up a level. We have the commitment (maybe not at the BIG boys, but with the Uihlein money to at least fight for CFP spots).
Time for fans to act that way too. For most big time programs -- it IS a weekend.

Correct, it was no night games after the DST switch. That rule was thrown out with the new TV contract.Big Ten used to have a rule of no night games in November, I thought. Certainly late November.
Really??? You would board your dog!!! You are the true animal. Barbaric! Just get a dog service to come to your home. The dog has less stress. I’m with you on the logistics, based on your avatar we live in the same city. I’ll say I have driven home from night concerts at Soldier Field before but you get home at like 2:30 AM.Night games make it a two day thing for me. I have to book a hotel. Night games or games on The 'Cock. Tired of it
Yeah but I live 2 hrs from NRF and will have a balky teenager with me.Night games bother me far less than streaming games. At least NRF will be rockin'.
I can agree with you with three straight Peacock games, But this is a great time for a game start, Much rather have it than 11 AMI mean, COME ON! These schedulers are making it hard.
The 7th is not late NOV. I think they did not like it after the time change and because of the possibility of cold weather at night, But with tv being what it is they threw that out the windowBig Ten used to have a rule of no night games in November, I thought. Certainly late November.
Then go to Mich games. Can probably get some reasonable priced tickets this yearMichigan limits night games to two a season, and none after daylight savings.
