Game is being suspended it would appear. Might be moving to another field with lights.

I stepped away and now the clock is stopped at 3:42 and the sidelines are empty. Game stopped because of darkness?
Have both teams ever been accessed of running up the score?
Amazing. Quincy likely wasn’t planning on staying overnight. That is going to be a pricey evening.
per Twitter, the game is suspended and is being moved to a field with lights(Englewood's field). Will continue when everyone gets to the new field. What a mess
A shame this is buried on NFHS. It would be a great viral game if anyone could watch.
I think they are moving the game to Englewood Stem according to social media.
There's almost NO WAY that NFHS can move with them.

Gotta be either season 2 start under Coach Bill McGregor- probably had a game plan but everything went out the window and players are disgruntled, leading to lack of effort and letting anyone score.
OR this is season 3 under Wade Aikmen- high powered offense based around the QB but total disregard to defense
i thought this was a joke! Hahaha. I saw the score on ihsa and thought someone is messing with the score!
I looked it up. Quincy scored more than their basketball team ever did last year (tops was 83). Goode tied their basketball high at 84.
I'm guessing this is why NFHS broke down at night they sucked up all its power.
This is an embarrassing score. Especially for a school like Quincy who has built some success the past few seasons. I've never seen anything like this in my lifetime. How many tackles were made in this game? 9?

I give CPS hell but Goode should have won it’s frustrating. Imagine if by some chance Kennedy beat East Moline. Either Kennedy or Goode would be in the quarters

100%... QHS football is a weird breed of folks to begin with. But when you're the 7A fish in a sea of 1A/2A schools around you, I guess you get to act like you're special more often than not. Again, they're all just giddy they didn't get shipped early or sent early another powerhouse CCL, public Chi suburb, or ESL by now. I'm a QND guy, so I'm obviously not going to speak overly highly of the former 6A/7A doormat known as Quincy Senior High... but this
Folks in Quincy really liking and praising the stats the local media has posted about this game... as if a record in a game like this has any merit whatsoever. I'll be a bit less critical, most of them are probably retirees who didn't attend and didn't bother reading the articles or watching the highlights. But I'm 100% certain some Quincy High person will omit the final score when reminiscing about this one to me in 10 years.
We've come to expect this type of backwards fanfare from QHS. They're still making "we made the playoffs" t-shirts even though they've been there 10 of the last 12 full seasons played. If that helps drive home the point.
Moreover, their home games scheduled for 7p rarely start until almost 8p. Which is an absolute joke. A fine reminder to all I guess... QHS is a basketball school.
Then again I saw it posted that their round ball team couldn't even score 88 in a game last season... ouchbang!
