Big Upset in the CPC as Reagan looked totally different than last week. Great Job Todd Willert and that East Forsyth defense.

Congrats West Forsyth, East Forsyth & Reagan( First Place Tie)

West Forsyth are the CPC Champions for back to back seasons even if they had to share it this year with their two step brothers. I know they wish they could redo last week.

Reagan spiked the ball on 4th and 7 as time was ticking with about 20 seconds left.
Very very questionable coaching call. Or maybe lack of call. Either way, very weird.

That is not what the coach wanted at all. The kid playing QB was not aware of the situation.

Exactly. Then it was a lack of a call, like I said.
The kid wasn't aware of the situation, which is on the coaches. I wasn't referring to any particular coach or the head coach. But somehow the kid heard the word spike. If it wasn't from a coach/es on the sideline, why is he listening to fans or teammates. Why didn't the kid look towards his coaches really quick to get a play call? Anyway you slice it, its poor coaching.

Maybe, I do not know. I was watching the game on TV and when the kid spiked the ball, the head coach slammed his cap on the ground. Which would indicate the sideline was trying to let the QB know it was 4th down and not to spike the ball. But as well, they should have made him aware of this before they ran the 3rd down play. These are teenage HS kids so it is hard to be too tough on him. Reagan probably was going to lose anyway since they still had a long way to go to even get into FG range and no timeouts left.

It wasn't a lack of call. There was two plays called in the huddle if they didn't get the first down. The kid panicked and made a bad play in the moment. These things happen at even the collegiate level. Several instances this year alone.
