Not surprised here. I got Franny winning it all, but the margin was eye opening.

Will be interesting to see how Kank v Provi goes tomorrow in the other semifinal. I think Provi will win a close one.

WSF heck of a team. Hat off, they were dialed. QB is a stud.

One question though: in Catholic Schools do they teach their athletes and coaches to yell “F*** [insert opposing team]” before or after Christian Morality class?

I’m not much for pearl clutching, but I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen this before.

Alright let’s provide a bit of context here as I’ve seen you post this on multiple social media platforms…including tagging the IHSA so you surely have an axe to grind. So I’m just going to stick to the facts…

This was not “coaches-led” thing…no coaches were involved. It was a players only breakdown after the coach spoke to the team.

After an adrenaline filled game, where at the end Kaneland had *multiple* personal foul penalties for unnecessary roughness after the play was over, a group of 16 and 17 year olds made an adrenaline-driven ill-advised decision (because that has never happened before in history…) and were *quickly and sharply* reprimanded by their coaching staff.

I’m not condoning what happened but this is a non-story despite your best efforts across social media platforms to make it one.

Don't have your team yell "F*** Kaneland" and it is a non-story 🤷‍♂️

Also there were 2 unnecessary roughness plays by Kaneland, the exact same amount called on St. Francis. Not why you'd pearl clutch there, that's just regular football.

I’m not the one pearl clutching here cowboy….you’re the one running across every social media platform posting this multiple times tagging various organizations because some 16 and 17 year old kids hopped up on adrenaline had a (relatively harmless) split second of poor judgement after a game (and then were quickly reprimanded by the adults on staff).

You never answered my original question, but I'll assume this will be talked about during Christian Morality Class on Monday, all good.

Best of the way to you and your adrenaline filled kids. They played great Football last night.

I’m sure they’ll touch on it during confession…which they’ll fit in sometime during the school day where the average ACT score is a 27 and there is a 100% 4-year college acceptance rate.

Not coach led so you can correct your original post. It says something that you misrepresented the facts.

Bad judgement and not a good look, it will be talked about.

Knights got their buts kicked, yikes.

I find it hilarious, sad but not surprising folks are trying to make this some big deal, it will be dealt with.

Moving on…..

Pretty terrible from the players there for sure.

Before anyone tries to be the moral police, you should probably look at your school and team as well.

Fans and players calling kids the N word on the field.

Personal social media attacks leading up to the game calling out parents and family by name.

It's terrible from both sides. Instead of pointing the finger at others, it would be best if everyone taught their own kids, fans, and players how to act.

Heard the same from multiple people I trust. But I can’t say I’m surprised. Stuff like this has seemingly been normalized for the past 10 years. We see the nasty behavior daily but I digress.

Two wrongs don’t make a right but WTF is wrong with people?

Definitely a lack of decorum and some public baggery, but in the end, it’s a big nothing burger. Nothing will come of this.

This has looked more like the team many ranked highly in preseason over the last 5 games.
The QB and Receiving Corps were dialed. I agree with the general consensus that the winner of Provi/Kankakee are the only teams that can at least match St. Francis speed at the skill positions.

And a starting WR is out for year, they are deep in the O skill positions.
