Howard & Sowell (best WRs) questionable for Purdue game

By the way he was writhing and reacting, I thought he broke both his ankles. However, they took him onto the tent, did surgery, and he miraculously recovered in about 20 minutes and returned to the game and had a great performance.

Purdue can score and they are decent. Not really good but you know what I mean they are not a horrible team. If we come out with a total nothing on offense (sans Sowell and Howard) then we probably can't win given our defense is unreliable and well not good.

Yes. I was sure it was the type of injury they say, “you’re going to want to look away” during the replay. The only thing more dramatic were his celebrations every first down he caught. Yay, but I have never seen a PSUer celebrate like that and it was pretty gross. Didn’t endear me too much-especially since we were losing at the time. Bless his heart.

this didn't just start. I rember when there was 16/17 guys who couldn't play and some of them starters. something in the water there. there are players on the list this year who may never play again!

Besides, the gamblers have to be right sometime after missing 4 in a row. Maybe they know PSU fans bet with their heart

No idea, but some of the ISU fans said this eas a constant theme under Campbell, or the S&C coach Kagy, dating back to their time there. Its not like this team is full of hard hitters, so Id be suprised to learn they do the Oklahoma drill each week.

It seems like there’s something to it. Every week our injury report dwarfs the injury report of our opponent. I guess we have to win at something this season. 🤪

How would it be a toss up? It would be a win for Purdue.

Howard is doubtful now and Sowell is still questionable. And we’re screwed. This is likely going to be another loss if we’re missing both. Brutal season. I cannot understand the current point spread though. I rarely bet except for the Super Bowl and this almost looks like easy money.

Ehhh...its never easy money lol
No Howard = No win IMO
But if Sowell plays its not impossible. Need the TEs to step up big time
