Probably nothing will go wrong, because nothing will happen. They literally have like 3 days left before midterms to pass the PCSA. If they can’t get it done by Tuesday, the lame duck session will commence, and proceed to not do jack shít about the PCSA or anything else.

Then, new Congress takes over in January, and they will literally have to start over from scratch with every bit of it.

Mike Johnson already said they are taking it up after the midterms, because it passed the Senate with a huge majority and Trump wants it done.

But it probably doesn't have enough votes in the House to pass without substantial amendments, so they might not even vote on it.
