CMP has beaten BYU for recruits before and there is no reason he can't again! It all comes down to whether this young man wants to become a legend and wear the sacred cloth or not!
Oats knows guards. That’s what I base that off of. Have you looked at some of the portal rankings and how players turned out? It’s comical how bad they are. It’s worse than hs kids. Adrian Wooley for Louisville was top 10 last year and couldn’t get off the bench.

Cal allowed us to be a hat on the table countless times. Practically every time we went head to head with Duke , the Edwards kid that went to Georgia, Simmons at LSU,the kid that chose Oklahoma State over us , the kid that went to Memphis,etc.

Zion Williamson and Paolo Banchero were both UK leans at one time that went to Duke. Cal lost his fastball after he turned down to play at the PK80. Nike made sure that Duke would get the pick of the litter after that.

Clemson had him locked up until Duke came in with the house and whatever else. It was even on the fbi wiretap stuff. Clemson thought 100% he was locked up.

Nope it was beyond time for him to go. He did a good job then just coasted and went down hill. Pope will be gone this year without big results. Then we will move on to the next. Whining everyday about it isn’t going to change that though. He’s the coach for this season.
As far as I am concerned, Pope better overacheive so massively great this year, future recruiting does not matter for next year. I'm serious about that. I'm fed up with hearing the news from the recruiting front. I'm more interested in football recruiting with Stein, actually. Been following that much closer. Knowing Pope is gonna continue whiffing at the absurd rate he does, hey, if we get a good player, I'll file it away in the "blind pig gets acron" category and not pay any more attention to it.
Don’t underestimate the importance of WWW focusing his interests on the nba instead of “influencing “ kids on their college decisions.
