'26 Senior World Championships (10/24-11/1) thread

[Corby2]

If Worlds was a month earlier, and Blaze isn't spending at least some time each day gearing up for Folk season, does he do more to clear the whizzer? In folk, the leg in means control and he doesn't have to clear that to establish control. Not the case under UWW rules.

Not trying to start a folk vs free debate but I wonder if the overlap confuses guys sometimes. I remember Levi leg lacing someone twice during an early season match last year, for example.

No it wouldn't have mattered he was doing all he could to score

Yeah they needed the ref to untangle that whizzer long after the bell. Marcus couldn’t have slipped out no matter how much he practiced it, imo.

[Sunshine88!]

Come on. That was 2!!!

Sure was.

[m.knox]

Bo looks like a kid next to this guy.

[Cheat code]

Bo can do this!

[Sunshine88!]

Wow. Marcus definitely had 2. Got Ripped off for possible Gold. He’s better than that guy. MO

I'll second that. Impressive for sure. Should be a model for all young wrestlers - you want to be serious about it, here's how you do it.

What an asskicking Bo put on that guy. Looked 2 weight classes smaller and just brought it for 6 minutes.

How the hell did Iowa F that one up.

I'm very glad Iowa messed that one up

[Lil Nicky Scarfo]

Meh - the guy WHO SHOULD STILL BE IN HIGH SCHOOL getting 5th is far more impressive

If you want to call it that way, then one could say we also F'ed it up.

Bo and his dad value fame and fortune a tier above loyalty and sticking by their commitments. Iowa tried to play by the rules with Bo, they didn't F it up. Except arguing with the mom ;-)

This critique has nothing to do with the recognition that he is a world champ before wrestling his first NCAA match, and a likely national champ come March.

[HOA242n!]

How exactly are those two in the same weight class? The Armenian looked 20lbs. heavier than Bassett. Just broke him with nonstop attacking; no reason Mesenbrink and Barr can't do the same thing.

[Cheat code]

Snyder gets it done. Down 4-0 with 40 seconds to go, he gets two TDs to win 4-4
