Zain behind on 3 sweep singles, gave up TD on one, got step out on one, and- while down 3-2 in last 20 seconds- opponent slipped out without giving up anything

Opponent never attempted a shot the entire match. Was put on shot clock once but received a penalty point when ZR straight-arm blocked the Russian tie

Kadiev is clearly stronger than Kyle. Hopefully he can outsmart him, and maybe fix the Flo feed too. 2-2 at the break.

According to ancient Greek mythology, Zeus once granted a young wrestler named Kyle Dake the gift of eternal youth.

But there was a catch. Dake would never age, yet every four years he would have to prove himself worthy of the gift.

For thousands of years, Dake traveled the earth, wrestling kings, warriors, and Olympic champions.

Eventually, Zeus grew tired of watching him and thundered from Mount Olympus:

"Kyle, it's been 3,000 years. When are you going to retire?"

Dake looked up and replied, "I'm just entering my prime."

Zeus shook his head. "That's what you told Milo of Croton."

So close to a perfect round for USA (excluding Wyatt, I forgot about him). This one is going haunt Zain. He was the better guy. In deep on shots he usually finishes. Akmataliev showed absolutely insane defense but Zain will almost always finish at least 1 of those. Blaze as close to winning as possible as well. Tough way to lose for both guys. I thought Wyatt had a chance with how he was wrestling but Zare is the worst possible matchup for him. Not even close unfortunately. Dake does it again against Russia’s next big thing. He is such a smart wrestler. Probably his best trait

The argument that guy uses (about domestic familiarity) always gets me. “Dake only prepared for Zahid!!! It’s not fair!”

Dake with 4 world golds or so and doesn’t have a “style” for international events. Okay, sure

Just another guy who hates Penn State. From Chicago, so there is a Big 10 envy association. There was also some ridicule of Snyder from GlobalWrestOrder in his tweets for beating Sadulaev by a “gimmick” 4-4 after Sadulaev had been injured in the recent past.

If Worlds was a month earlier, and Blaze isn't spending at least some time each day gearing up for Folk season, does he do more to clear the whizzer? In folk, the leg in means control and he doesn't have to clear that to establish control. Not the case under UWW rules.

Not trying to start a folk vs free debate but I wonder if the overlap confuses guys sometimes. I remember Levi leg lacing someone twice during an early season match last year, for example.
