For as much talent as he’s gotten over the years, he hasn’t exactly proven he can coach at an elite level like Calipari did before he came to Kentucky.

Mark Pope stinks. He’s dragged our program down with his ineptitude and incompetence.

What I have been told about this recruitment is all I need to hear, but at the same time could already tell from this being year 3 of the Coach Goofball experience.

Reese loved UK.
But he never heard from Mark.
All of his contact was with Mo and Mikhail exclusively.

Now they probably do that to protect him, because he’s such a weirdo. But then that also leads to recruitments like this.

You cannot have a coach who is awkward and has the appeal of a dirty gym sock. He is a liability. And he’s not a wizard on the sideline or in practice… so what purpose does he serve? He is a horrible steward of our program and tradition.

I loved UK too but not one coach called me. Until Pope is gone, go cheer for someone else.

Probably a good idea to keep him away but the fact he never met him personally is strange. Nothing surprises me with Pope anymore. He won’t land these kids. He can keep offering the top 25 all he wants. He got Hampton somehow but it’s too be seen if he even stays top 25 or not.

Not sure how you would know if this kid loved uk or not, but IF true, Pope needs to be gone NOW. Zoom continues to prove his ineptness and is being sent to bench by a unheralded freshman. Why diallo was ever signed is a head scratcher?

Player and agent blackballed Pope in the early portion of his 1st year because of popes weird antics when discussing and trying to close the deal with NIL.They put out negative discussion to other top players and agents that's why the 5 stars won't commit.It was mentioned by someone on Rafters but briefly discussed.I remember reading about it and was surprised.Pope and ky only being used to drive up the price.

All the more reason ti send Pope packing. This isn't the university of Mark Pope. It is UK. Time to take out the trash.
