Looking at the 4a playoff field, I don't think you have too much to worry about. It is a kind road.

Apologies, I thought this board was titled "Gaston County." Anyways, I have received and accepted an official invite from Hawkbill, or was it Ketchup and Liquor—not important. You can retire that talking point alongside the one where you believe you have more insight and power to classify teams than the State.
Heck, you are halfway there; the only main point to clarify would be your irrational thought that the Southern Piedmont conference top 4 of Shelby, Burns, SC, Linc is an easy road. Both conferences have bottom teams.
Let us be real honest: if you did not really think SC had turned a page and was improving, if you were not worried about this progress, then you would put the same energy talking about SC as you do against, say, EG or FV, none.

Rulz and BB02, you guys do realize Deboer is everyone of these accounts that pop up and try to stir things up? That is why all of these other “names” pop up on all the other threads. He can’t use Deboer on other boards, that would take away his selling point of “this is a 5A/6A board, you know where the big boys play”. As down as you say 5A is this year, you guys should run right through it. Uh oh I forgot about that one team in West Shelby (see I don’t always lick Rulz’s boots) you struggle with.
They can probably check and verify that not be true. I know you're "kinda" new here....but what you're suggesting has been seen a lot over the years. I have been a constant for a long time. Again...I don't think you see the kinda of talent, excitement, charisma and entertainment from these other well-meaning dolts that you claim are also me. That part IS actually kinda offensive if you really think that's true.
I said football overall is down. I stand by that.
Within that scope....certain classes are tougher than others .... and I think that is obvious too.
5a and 3a are tougher than 4a and 6a.
I don't think there is too much debate about that being wrong is there?
Who is tough in 3A other than a Shelby team you like to bang on? I agree with you on 6A. I know TCR is ranked very high and they wouldn’t be a top 3A, 4A, or 5A team.
I don't have that much time pal. Plus....the postings would be much better. This type of gold comes from the one and only.
TCR would probably beat every 4a team in the state by 7 Plus points.
They lost to asheville by 2. Ask Crest if Asheville is any good.
Be careful...going up a class in football, much less two classes is a different world... esp. 4a to 6a. Ask your Burns breathren about that. Shelby is different (most years)...and can play with 4a/5a and most 6a teams.
Yall's coach didn't want to play teams with 1,000 kids in school....they want no part of a school with 1600 kids.
If you think KM is easy to beat....schedule them. They only have 1300 kids.
After reviewing it...I knew N. Stanly and Walkertown were over there but thought there were more good teams. I stand corrected....3A is down farther than I even thought previously.
I assume you use that same logic about 6a/7a teams then. Why don't SP pick up the phone and play Weddington, Crest does?

. I saw TCR play, not a very good team based off their 6A ranking, but without a phantom holding penalty on a kickoff return td they might have beaten SP. Speaking of momentum changing penalties, didn’t you guys benefit from a td being called back that would have put Ashbrook up 14-0? Didn’t you also benefit from a penalty that took a TD off the board that would have put KM up 14-7? Generally speaking….absolutely. One thing SP doesn’t go and do: scheudle recent 1-3 win programs a class up to play.

You didn’t talk about flags over 2-3 to 30 times last year talking about Shelby/Crest? If you say you didn’t I will stop this right now. The Big Red has benefited extremely this year with some timely flags. Did it help them win those games…maybe not….but maybe
Who knows they have almost the same amount of students as SC so it should be competitive according to Deboer….well except for NG and FV, they don’t count.

Unfortunately after this year SC loses everyone... so idk if they rebuild or reload like SP. This would had to been the year for em to play.
They need to take their lumps until they beat SP.

He is right when he says someone at SC stopped the game but he is dead wrong in who he is blaming, and he knows it. Trust me the SC kids and fans wish the game was happening this year. Is this some bravado saying we would win, no. However he knows it wouldn’t be like it was 3-4 years ago, and if he says otherwise it is only for the purpose of this board.

I give real world examples... No good? St. cramer has some good players without a doubt. Too bad they never got to test themselves against their true peers. Sad IMO. Of course....not the players fault.
