Henry to Cal has been the consensus for a long time now, and that any activity by Henry was to get Cal to match it. So we'll see how Henry rolls - if he's just a $$ guy, he goes UK. Henry's stepdad is Pacman Jones.

Pacman is not his step-dad. He didn't marry or have any sort of romantic relationship with Henry's mom. Pacman was best friends with Chris Henry, the former NFL player and father of Demarcus Henry. After Chris died falling out of the back of a truck, Pacman kept in touch with Chris' widow. 12 years after Chris died, Pacman and his wife legally adopted 2 of Chris' sons, with the blessing of Chris' widow.

So adoptive father, not step-dad.

Idk where you see that Kentucky has offered a million over anyone else but I find that hard to believe. Sounds like agents playing the game again like they do with a lot of recruits.

It could all be agent speak, all of this information is second hand smoke. Henry's recruitment has been exceptionally noisy.

Rosser's wildcard seems contingent on Black, otherwise not sure why a hometown kid long rumored would still be outstanding at this point. It doesn't seem as if UNC is shy about the $$. He's been respectfully quiet in his recruitment.

I know. It’s playing out the same way his brothers did. Lot of smoke at the end but signed with who was the favorite. He has a seasoned agent going for whatever he can get. It’s smart. Always take the money while it’s there.

We'll see. The agent is savvy and has a script, but at the same time this crap is what's forced out great college coaches, Dusty May the most recent.

Henry has stacked his entire schedule with intention. Kicked off with Kelsey because he knew he'd set a high market rate. Then went to UConn/Hurley, offered the illusion it went great, so much that there was a rumored verbal nod, Hurley tried to close him on visit. Then went to his last scheduled visit at the time, Arkansas. That went great. Hurley was still confident enough there was something there he flew cross X with his entire staff to try and close him, didn't happen. Hurley moves on ASAP with another option. Now the Henry sweepstakes are high. Hard rumors are Arkansas and that anything from there is squeezing Cal for $$.

Duke at this point prioritizes Montgomery, Henry loses that leverage. He's out on BYU & OSU. So then he tacks UK & UNC visits back on.

It all feels like a mirage to get what he wants out of Cal. Yet, we know Cal prioritizes guards and Black would be his first priority. Then the rumors come out that Henry doesn't want to play with Black, vice versa, and wants to be a "playmaker". Cal doesn't have a lot of options at lead guard at this point, it's Black & Daughtry, who hasn't even visited yet.

Given Black's recruitment is still pending, Daughtry hasn't visited yet and Henry is announcing tomorrow, it doesn't feel like it would make sense Henry is going to Arkansas.

I'll say this these things are changing faster,MJ made the call ,that put unc past Arkansas fur Henry,so that changes things with Rosser ok follow along ,your not getting them both ok ,so yes Rosser will go to uk

I’ll take a senior N’Diaye over Rosser as a freshman for a year unless Rosser gets his efficiency up. He shot absolutely horrible over the summer. I know N’Diaye isn’t shooting great but he will be more valuable as a senior than Rosser for 1 year. Rosser has more potential but that’s usually not seen until nba.

Work in progress. Haven't played an exhibition game yet with the full roster. Glad we'll have some easier games to start the season.

Saw Malone call a timeout the other night just to immediately rip into a sophomore because he didn't meet the inbound pass strongly (resulting in a turnover.) Thought it was refreshing to see.

Saw Henry at the Lexington airport as he was waiting to fly back home after his official. Another man asked how it went and he just said that it went alright. His mom just smiled and nodded but they didn't elaborate on their answer. The guy who asked him was from Kansas and asked if they were in on him but he said that even though that they offered, they weren't really active in the recruitment. Some coach did call while he was waiting since he said "Hey, coach..." but I wasn't able to tell who it was. He did hand his phone to his mom and they talked for a while.
