Thu, 4:00 ET: Reese Alston || #3 PG, #9 overall Finalists: Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Tennessee, Wichita State
*Note: Son of Rafer Alston.

It all boils down to this and now our program is stale. There has been this desire to prop football for a quarter century and the idiot with that desire did it at the expense of our cbb program. He didn’t tend to it. He was a terrible steward of our bb program. First he gave it to a drunk using a napkin to serve as the contract. Then he hired a hall of famer and ruined the man with a ridiculous contract. The hire btw wasn’t his he was told to hire cal. Then this asshat fires the hall of famer with his plan to hire an average at best definitely below standard for UK bb. Barney ruined our bb program and I haven’t seen or heard anything from Batt that he understands the expectations and most importantly the tradition we need brought back to our bb program.

I love our fb program. It’s Barney who created this rift with his neglect our bb program.

Tradition this, tradition that, is the tradition in the room with us? And if it was do I give a crap?

tradition to you guys is power k logo’s, old chants, and some obsession that kentucky basketball is or isn’t a “blue blood” anymore

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I mean, you don’t sound like UK fan. Certainly not one that’s been around 50 years or longer and seen what tradition looks like. And then when some clown comes along and says we lost the tradition and there’s no tradition or whatever you say and I remember they said that crap about Alabama football back in the 90s. There’s there’s definitely a standard and that’s what makes the tradition is that the standard is upheld. Barney never gave a crap about our Basketball program.. he had no idea how to build anything. I mean Stein was a Hail Mary that worked. But this is the person I’m replying to here. This is the kind of Fan that Barney’s tenure built. That’s what sickens me. The net result of this guy’s 25 year stent and Lexington were three tournament misses and a massive losing. This isn’t stuff that happened to Kentucky basketball unless you neglect it. That’s the bottom line here. Neglected program. And back to the OP I don’t know what your point was so I just threw a bunch of stuff out there, but it’s all true.
