Pop up ads?

I haven’t had any problem until today, but accessing the forums this morning, I’ve suddenly gotten a slew of pop-up banners at the top and bottom while browsing mobile. Usually my content blockers work, but they currently aren’t able to filter out anything. Anyone else having issues?

Mobile is almost unbearable. You also frequently cannot comment on a post without first closing out some popup/banner. Add in the recurring auto-playing videos on the full site and I'm not loving the current state of IC.

I’m a reader, not a poster, but seeing this I had to share. Get a good VPN with an ad blocker and you won’t have those problems. Mine stays on all the time and I never see ads on any websites or apps (including IC)

The recommended mobile viewing is the app as opposed to a mobile browser. Interested in your feedback on if you're tried that.

Strangely enough, it’s now resolved out of nowhere. I tried the app early on but not a fan of using a dedicated app for stuff I normally access through normal course of browsing

Understand. We also do the alert notifications through the app, which has quickly become much more popular and preferred than text alerts for users.

Search On3 in the app store, sign in to your account, and then you can customize it for IC - home screen icon, notification alerts, default forum, etc.
