From the mouths of babes.....

It's not just random internet basement dwellers. This youngin can see it. We can all see it.

But it is early....with a whole new roster it does take time to coalesce and gel. Right now that's the hope we're going to have to hang our hat on for a successful season.

Makes me a little sad. You know she sat there listening to her father yell and ***** and complain all night, and she’s parroting that.

Part of me wishes she’d just been able to go see the Wildcats and felt happy about a last-second shot and a win. But I guess dad is happy that “at least she won’t grow up to be a Sunshine Pumper.”

She’s actually an orphan that had that ticket donated to her

Maybe she has a mind of her own and sees things for what they are. Not everyone sees this team through rose colored glasses.

People and children aren't dumb.
We know what good looks like, and this isn't it.
But the usual crew will be here to tell us not to believe our lying eyes. The constant Pretorian guard of the huge Pope deuce sitting in the middle of the room.
Two things can be true at the same time. Someone can think Pope sucks and still not be silly enough to think this young girl was in the stands by herself with knowledge of how good or not UCF is or UK for that matter.

“We won by one point”

If she weren’t a cute little girl everyone would admit her whole schpiel is a $hitt take entirely independent of whether we are good.

My dad was a Kentucky basketball fan from the outset of Rupp onward to 96. Thank you, Lord, that poppa got to see the 96 team and have a last title before he passed away ! I hope I am as lucky !

I learned a long time ago from him, when I was little watching the games, and he always just said before the game, even those that looked like we should win by 50, he NEVER ONE TIME took any game for granted and usually, almost always say to me :

"I'll take a one-point win .... " or like that ... "I'll settle for a one point win."

then rock back, stay silent the whole game, smoke his pipe, calm cool and collected every time. He was the calmest person I ever seen. And the house had to be quiet when he had the game on. Everybody knew that and respected it. Sure, it got noisy at times, but it settled down quick. LOL

I *think* I finally understand that now. And mind ya', he was 50 when I was born. So now that I'm 57, I am still learning from him.

The girl sounds like she has been listening to her father. It sounds like what we are saying. BBN will be in good hands with young fans like that when old blue hairs like me pass away.

But I hope, at least, it'll be a long time enjoying Kentucky sports before I do.

Rock & Roll BBN !

It’s not a secret that interest is way down in basketball this year. On KSR, the guys are saying it without actually saying it.

What’s her SN on the board?! I know she’s over her downing Pope every chance she gets. That is @NociHTTP !
Sorry, bub, I don't down Pope every chance I get. He dealt with injuries the first two years, and dealt with an empty cupboard coming in, but let's pretend that hasn't been mentioned by me.
