There’s a twenty part, 85 hour documentary on Nick Saban that they have been playing on ESPN 1, ESPN 2, ESPN 3, and EL-ESPN. Apparently it’s “MUST SEE.” (Makes sarcasm soaked obscene gesture mimicking making love to oneself).

I have watched I guess about 150+ PSU games since Joe Paterno was crucified-I think I can count one time I heard the announcers mention his name.

Aren’t more of us enraged that the winningest coach in college football…who did it the right way has been black balled?

Wish I could do something to fight for his name-he deserved and deserves better.

I hope if I was ever in a tough spot, people would fight for me…

Joe got everything he deserved. Didn't give a damn about how the program suffered at his hands, he was focused on "409". History is not kind to him and the future will just forget him, rightfully so. His name is disgraced.

That Saban documentary, you should watch it. Shows what happens when you don't focus on the win like Joe did. He didn't have to hang around forever snatching W's from little sisters. Retired with greatest honor.

And don't worry - no one is going to fight for you.

I was there. It was brutally cold that day. And I really thought that PSU would not pull it out of the loss column.
Funny, I don't remember it being cold that day. At least not like some of the other cold games like LJ2k, Michigan 95, Iowa 96 (though the rain mixed with the 40ish weather was what made that one terrible...outside of Tim Dwight running all over the place), etc.

Edit - Just watched the full video (fun memories) and saw myself wearing my winter jacket, so it was colder than I remember. I also still don't understand why Joe didn't go for 2 after the last TD...really odd decision (that thankfully didn't matter).

The truth hurts.

Joe's Legacy - a rapidly becoming obsolete barn known as a library. That's it. No Paterno Field, award, trophy, whatever. That is what is called disgrace. Nothing is going to erase that stain.

I just checked the box score. It was 38 degrees with 15-30 mph winds. Pretty cold conditions. I was in the last row of the South End zone. The wind went right through you.

If I recall Jimmy Kennedy blocked a FG sometime in the second half.

The highly disparaging garbage about Joe is the product of Pitt and it's highly mentally disturbed following. Pure drivel only some a$$ from Pitt could concoct.

Joe still torments these demented Imbeciles years after he passed.

Looking back, Zack was a great QB for PSU at that time. He really took some shots running the option and just bounced back up every time. The way he could effortlessly float a ball and drop it into a receiver's arms is MISSED!

Pitt fans would have given their baby making parts for Sandusky or Bradley to be their head coach. They tried MANY times, offering them both the job on an almost yearly basis, at least they did to JS.

One of my HS teammates mom was banging the head of the golden panthers back in the late 80s and early 90's. He and some friends would watch our HS games sometimes so I got to talk to those guys regularly. They had a ton of influence on the athletic department and multiple guys in charge wanted JS. I remember how shocked they were when they told JS that they were willing to offer him more than Joe and then they found out that Joe was making well under what they thought. They were even more shocked that JS kept refusing their offers

Yeah, why the hell would Sandusky go anywhere? He was too busy with the local youth to consider changing.
