OSU Invitational 11/1/26

[Travis25]

Spratley vs zinkin
Raney vs Jamison
Lockett vs Swiderski
Norman vs Facundo
Merrill vs Little
All of White's matches

Glad to see I am not the only one fascinated by Mikey White. I've been buying his stock since he committed.

Every college event is several hours long. I'm not aware of any college or pro events that start before noon local time on a Sunday.... with the exception of games in London, etc.... I'm sure it will be a long event, for those of us with church ties on a Sunday, just means we can't go.

Several like 8 hours. Have you been to a wrestling tournament? go to early service. You won’t miss much

[newguy123]

Yeah let’s not record matches for two dudes that 100% want to glean info to share with their insider buddies. They’re not OSU fans yet they’re here insulting our staff to get their way. Its both rude and lame.

Same! Every clip I see is so interesting. His style is unorthodox and he is motivated as all get out

I actually want to watch the matches what inside info would one share when the scores will be public. Signed the rude and lame guy

[chasepollard]

Take it outside!

No inside in for will be gleaned here besides the public won’t get to see how much better we are at 41, 65, 74 and 84 than we are getting credit for.

I know you will have good seats Facebook live the good ones. It will help promote the program DT won't care

Haha, I actually can't faceyspace live anything until 11-12-26.

I made a joke about meth for weight-loss and got reprimanded.

In your defense I thought it was great

Okay question since we know it's not going to be streamed. What about recording the entire event and then posting it after the fact so we could watch it on the Stilly Boys channel? Is that a possibility?

Sounds like the only recordings will be people we know who will record matches for us wrestling junkies

[OSUBigBadBob]

Coach made it clear today that the only reason it isn’t streaming is so other people (@Corby2) don’t get to see us. Want to watch ? Buy a ticket.

Also, shooting for finals at 3. I’m skeptical they are getting through 8 man brackets that quick but who knows with our team finishing guys early

What if I already bought a ticket but I'm not coming we should get a special log in

[OSUBigBadBob]

nope. Ain’t making it easy for spies @Corby2 most open program in top 10. Had a whole open practice today and free reign in locker room and talk to coaches/team all day today (think I saw @AtownPoke sniff a jock or two)

Is Ross going to wrestle in the invitational?

[Corby2]

Is Ross going to wrestle in the invitational?

Highly doubt he does

Might be right but two weeks out I saw him dunk a tape ball or something on a 10 ft goal and wrestle a full practice with nothing but a knee wrap. Coach said most everyone is healthy and doesn’t expect anyone not to be able to compete. Take it for what you will

Wasn't expecting him to miss much time but didn't think he would be ready Nov 1 . Hopefully we Doucet vs Ross

[Travis25]

Will both Raneys be weighing in at 141 or do we think Jordyn will try 149?

Both are certified at 41 I believe.

[Travis25]

Per the OSU Wrestling Facebook page, it looks like no Sprat at 125 and no Jordyn Raney at 141.

125 - Zinkin
141 - Jayden Raney, Hughes, Jamison, Ramirez
157 - Landon and Sheets
174 - Facundo and Norman
197 - Merrill and Austin Johnson

They have not posted entries at 133, 149, 165, 184, or 285. They might be posted elsewhere.

My guess is you see Jordyn at 149 with Lockett/ Casey 165 and Berge / White 184 .
141 and 174 will be interesting as will Merrill vs Little .

Did not expect to see Ronnie at 141 after wrestling 57kg this summer

That is what I was thinking too. Seems like a tough place to try to crack the lineup, but he would know better than me.

Haha, just text me your requests!

Between atown, howie and myself, you'll get some vids and we can act as your trackwrestling.

I have not read the thread… are they streaming this even for folks like me that want to sit at home in Austin and watch it rather than do other things around town?
