That game was embarrassing, coaches should have some heat on them. Glad Trent had the guts to publicly say something.

Coaching wasn’t great but when the punt wall doesn’t block the guy right in front of him and goes to the left to push a guy that had no chance to block the punt, qb’s miss wide open guys from start to finish, throw interceptions, running backs fumble, punt returner fumbles, but defense only gives up 13 points, you should win unless you turn over the ball 4 times and get a punt blocked. Totally on the coaches.
Yes, it’s their job to prep the players in all three phases of the game but players have to make plays. And they didn’t. 75% on the players, 25% on the coaches with this loss. Didn’t like the run calls between the tackles all game with no outside sweeps, or screen passes to offset the blitzes, Williams should of seen more time over Phillips, defense needed to blitz Lindsey more as he is bad with pressure and if you do, force to his left so he has no ability to throw scrambling that way. Special teams wasn’t special with the blocked punt and fumble on the return. Just a total mess after a bye week. Someone posted KF is 13-17 after bye weeks. That’s terrible for a coach with a 60% winning percentage.

Maybe. But I have a hard time giving much credibility to a professional podcaster who can't figure out how to maintain consistent audio quality across his show segments. It's maddening in 2026.

In Trent’s defense, it has a chance to go down as the worst loss in the KF era if ends up being the reason they miss the playoff.
I understand they’ve had worse losses, but when considering the stakes, I don’t think there’s anything close. Maybe they’ll end up losing two or three more and it will slide it down but like I said if this is the loss that keeps them out of the playoffs, there’s not a contender in my book.
They will beat Wisconsin then everything will be fine for a day or two
I dont see Iowa winning out, BUT if they did, I think they'd still get in at 10-2
10-2 COULD get us in but we would need to jump about 3 spots every week for all 5 weeks.
If Iowa wins out and Wisco and NW managed to stay ranked come season end, then they are in the playoffs imo.
So basically you’re asking for Wisconsin and Northwestern to win out except for the Iowa game and then Iowa to win out. Talk about long odds, yikes
It's useless. I was the one who got Kirk's number at his office and shared it back in 2014. Had hundreds or even thousands of people calling for his head. I feel bad now for it. Especially when he went 12-0 the following year.
