If possible, and totally disregarding politics, does anyone have any honest knowledge about Scott Colom? Honest? Straight talker? Respected or not? Hard worker or silver spoon?
I know enough about Cindy H Smith but I am curious about Mr Colom’s standing in his community.

Don't know him, but have a friend or two, ...do not like him, at all.
Have had dealings with him.

He’s more moderate on some issues but keep in mind if elected he’s going to have to jump through whatever hoops the democrats in the senate ask.

If that’s not your cup of tea you’re not going to like it. If you’re more inclined to that particular side by all means vote for him. He’s probably one of the better candidates the democrats have put on the ballot for senate in a long time.

Wikipedia is a pretty good source for his professional and electoral history. It looks like had some Republican support for his Federal judicial nomination - Wicker supported it, in addition to Barbour and Phil Bryant. Interestingly enough, Hyde-Smith did not support him. His nomination never got a vote though.

That was over 25 years ago. Musgrove had been Lieutenant Governor for Mississippi's first Republican governor since Reconstruction. The Democrats controlled both houses of the Leg at that point. I doubt Ronnie Musgrove would win in today's environment...but Ross Barnett might.
It was an accurate answer to his statement. You can “ yeah, but” it all you want

Don't matter who he was.... now he is a George Soros funded politician that will be controlled by other far left special interests groups.

Soros is the same has Musk and their billionaire friends. Unfortunately, the common man doesn’t matter anymore no matter who you vote for.

Seems like a good guy. Was walking the line outside the Trump rally in Corinth, introducing himself and shaking hands with everyone.

He's been elected D.A. a few times in a pretty conservative district.

He ain't winning a state wide election.

Mike Espy got kind of close to winning. You didn't have to come on here and start this thread with him, everyone knew who he was and he could not pull it off but if Republicans stay home this election could be close.
