They have had some weak opponents since Walkertown game. When was last time they didn’t win conference. 2nd to none probably knows.
There does not seem to be much to talk about all across the board. There are few if any dominant teams. Look at the drop off in rpi, The 80:20 rule is nearly dead on. I checked it. It's like the race horse joke...Telegram read "S.S.F F.

So, what are we to post about?
No disrespect intended, but when you finish the regular season with teams that barely have a pulse there's not much to say. The Shelby posters know this only too well.
I guess we could speculate whether the Rams would score 50 or more points each game or maybe whether the Moreheads, BYs, or McMichaels would get on the board against the Reidsville backups. And what would that accomplish?
I really don't know how Simmons and the other sites forecasting score margins can use these games going forward when the competition gets serious.
The only real question now is whether West Craven will still be seeded higher than Reidsville after Friday's games. And that one is "Too Close To Call".

Outside of Walkertown and Reidsville it's bad football conference. I hate it for Reidsville but not many options with McMichael, Morehead and Rockingham county. Carver early 2000's teams would be competitive.
Morehead is on the uprise, Rockingham has a bunch of guys that beat up Rams when they were Raiders, and McMichael.... Uh... Well... They just got 25k from TMobile lol

Otis, your evolution doesn't go unnoticed. Every since West Craven got back on the map, you dont ride on the saddles of Reidsville or Wallace anymore. I've seen the change in WC and your support.

Our conference is terrible just like yours if you are a Rams fan. Than goodness we have SWE. Eastern Wayne I thought would be better than they have been. I blame most of their troubles on avoiding good teams in non conference play. You can’t play cup cakes and expect to match up to good teams later in conference play or playoffs. But I wasn’t taking a dig at Reidsville or TheMule. I think way too much of both. Mule is a great guy. But I don’t think there is a path to jump us now. I certainly hope we don’t lose to EW after all I’ve said about their schedule. I don’t like crow.

I still go to Wallace and watch a game. Been this season when rain dates made it possible. I don’t get on here and beat a drum that ain’t in tune. When I’m talking you can believe I have faith they will do what I say. I’m always supporting and helping in anyway I can. You probably noticed about the time we started using iPads on the sidelines. I made a commitment to help set the equipment up each week and help if they have a glitch during the game. We use an endzone camera and a camera from the press box. I don’t run a camera just get it all setup for the guy that is nice enough to run it. I like the freedom of being able to be on the sidelines. You hear things others can’t. Like last week when confusion rained down during the SWE game and the refs forgot where the line of scrimmage was on a penalty after the chains had moved. After 9 minutes one of our assistants asked the White Hat “ if you listen to me I’ll get you out of this Mess”. Pure gold!!
They will. Not enough teams that play football to push them west.
Man North Lenoir. I hope and pray I never see our program in the fix they are in. They had 20 kids dressed out and not all of those could play when they came to Vanceboro this year. It was difficult not to feel sorry for them. Their coaches are doing the best they can. I’m not sure what has called the drop off.
