4 Games Left.

Stein has super exceeded expectations. I thought at best he would go 8-4, but more than like 7-5 or 6-6. We won some close games that if we played to not lose we would of lost.

So, does UK win out?

@ 16 Tennessee
17 Florida
@ 23 Missouri
Louisville

I think if we are not careful we could lose 2. But I think we do lose 1 more and its either @ Tennessee or @ Missouri.

My predictions.

Tennessee 28 - Kentucky 23 - L (Probably lose on bs ref call lol Classic)
Kentucky 30 - Florida 20 - W
Missouri 13 - Kentucky 28 - W
Kentucky 35 - Louisville 21 - W

Tell me who do we lose to if we do not win out?

It’s a toss up between 1 or 2 more losses. I think we will have a chance in the 4th at TN and Missouri. Can we pull one or both out. We have been more than fortunate (our own doing though) to pull out all the close ones thus far. Would be amazing to win out but I’d take 10-2 right now if offered and most likely a spot in the CFP.

"8- 4 (Lose all games left)"

"Losing all games left" is not 8-4. It is 7-5.

Just letting you know in case you want to give the trolls, fake UK fans who lurk constantly and comment on basketball stuff as well as the true pessimists the chance to participate.

I voted 9-3. That'd be a remarkable first season. BUT: I suspect all our predictions are based on being lifetime Kentucky football fans. Indiana fans at this same point last year, when the Hoosiers had four games to go, would probably have predicted 10-2: Lose to Ohio State of course, then have some unexpected stumble along the way. My point is that it is hard for humans to conceive of something happening that hasn't happened, at least not for a very long time. There are not many, if any, teams out there of which I'd say, "Kentucky can't win that game." UCLA? BYU? Indiana? Miami? Notre Dame? I'd think those are all winnable games. And that's a POSSIBLE path all the way to the championship.

It’s been a great run, but we easily could have lost 2 more games. That will change at some point. My hope is we lose 1 more, but my guess is 2 more. Still an amazing season!

I selected 9-3. The one big defensive flaw I see with this team is the pass defense. So, I think that will wreak havoc in a game with a great quarterback passer like Missouri. I also think Tennessee will be very hard to win at their place.

Allow me to chime in, even though this speculation is meaningless.

Just take one game at a time here, but as a fan, it's fun to speculate.

I'm apparently the only Kentucky fan (so far) that beleives we can - and will - win these games. I'll take it further...

Kentucky FINISHES 15-1 and wins the title.

Why not Kentucky? I'm a Kentucky fan. I beleive our team is good enough to win out and win the title. I've been all in for over 50 years. I beleive.

That said, this 4 game stretch is another steep part of this mountain we're climbing this year.

3 straight SEC games against top 25 teams, 2 more on the road. Another big rivalry game with louisville at the end to finish off the regular season....

We've climbed to a dizzying height. It's as steep or even maybe more steep here on out. Don't look back or down. Focus on ourselves and what we can control. I'm fine with anyone and everyone continuing to think kentucky's season is a fluke. Briefly saw a podcast from a rabid Vol fan and he said : Kentucky has no stars (players).

I thought ... GOOD ! (insert Nicholson "YES!" gif here) This ignorant fan I PRAY is coaching the Vols for our game. I pray they all think that. That kind of ignorance and blind sports hate / overconfidence bites you in the *** every time. Let others continue to stay biased in their thinking and undervalue and even disrespect this Kentucky team.

It doesn't matter what they say, but we are hearing it. Use their negativity and lack of respect for what we have accomplished so far this year against them. We can control that.

So I say, stay confident, and beleive. Keep the faith BBN ! (even if more rational takes might say, hey, we might lose two or more here on out .... even in the last 4 games, because, WHEW! what a mountain we have to climb!)

Go Big Blue !

I predicted one more loss. Think it’s either next weekend at Tennessee or two weeks after that at Missouri. I just don’t see us losing at home to Florida or Louisville. Florida is another night game at Kroger Field. And it’s very possible we are 9-2 playing the Cards for a spot in the playoffs. We are also just a better team than they are.

If speculation is meaningless why did you chime in and made a long winded post?

We're getting better, we're getting rested and we're getting healthier. We're playing smart and our o-line is dominating everybody we play. We go as far as our o-line can take us.

We go to Knoxville, wear their d down late, run the ball down their throats in the second half and go home with the w. Next.

One game at a time.

I picked lose all games left, I am not a troll, I am not a fake fan, I am pessimist, but more than being a pessimist, I am a long suffering UK fan, outside of the 2 10 win season under Stoops, I have suffered for decades. Then after each of those 10 win seasons we dropped back down, so it is hard for me to be optimistic, but if they beat UT I will be a believer that we can win out and make the playoffs.

Its a high level SEC game, so anything can happen. But UK is the more balanced and better overall team imho. We'll see how it goes. We'll move the ball either way but our red zone offense has been stellar. I look for something like a 27-20 score. Kentucky.

But what will the doubters say when we hold UT to a season low rushing the ball? We're getting healthy at LB. Could change a lot of things.

Ill go a step further and predict UT leads at half 14-13. Then our o line leans on them for the 3rd and 4th quarters, where we pull ahead.

While I wont be shocked if the Cats lose 2 more games I don't see why they cant win out either. We need the defensive line to continue to step up at key times and get pressure on the QB so that guys like Castell and Bryant can continue to do what they do and for Minchey to continue to limit the turnovers. If those two things continue the Cats will have a chance to beat anyone, imho.

Beat UT and I am ecstatic regardless of the next 3 games. Nothing would hurt them worse than us beating them on their home field giving them a year to mouth breath.
Oh, I believe they're undervalueing us..a lot. Why wouldn't they? Im sure the coaching staff is concerned because we are just hard to defend and we play good, clean defense. Even very, very thin at LB for pretty much the whole season, we've been able to stop teams without taking risks. If our LBs are ready, we can really take more risks and step up pressure.

The best team doesnt always win...but WE ARE the better team overall..and we're getting healthier at critical positions.

Everybody is short on depth these days. We're in a pretty good place.

I think we clean some stuff up over the bye defensively and offensively. We get some key starters back, others healthy, we have a week to scheme for Tennessee (just stop the run), win that one, and we are good to go. Florida looks beatable, Missouri is good at their house, that one makes me nervous, and Louisville at home will be a WILD crowd. Put us in the playoffs.
